To students wanting to keep up their training during the summer, Pre-Professional Summer Ballet Intensives are available. Current Central Utah Ballet students do not need to audition for the summer ballet intensive programs, but new students are asked to schedule a placement class before June 1.

Guest faculty includes Calvin Kitten (Ballet West), Danielle Diniz (New York), Shani Robison (Brigham Young University), Bridget Payne (Ballet West), Solange Gomes (Flamenco), Natalie Desch (University of Utah), Sayoko Knode (University of Utah Alumni Ballet/Modern), Christine McMillan (University of Utah), Whitney Jensen (Principal Dancer at Den Norske Opera & Ballet).
The pre-professional summer ballet intensive is available as a full 4-week program or can be broken into weekly registrations with permission from the director.
