Central Utah Ballet is excited to offer a wide range of ballet classes for all ages! Central Utah Ballet offers classically based ballet programs for children 3 years and up as well as adults. Each class builds upon classical ballet techniques and developmentally appropriate learning exercises. Your toddlers and preschoolers will learn ballet basics while developing a genuine love for dance, while older children will strengthen ballet technique, creativity, and form.
Our parents love our convenient Lehi, Utah studio for children’s ballet classes, including our pre-ballet program for students as young as 3 years old. One of our most popular programs is our pre-professional ballet training program. This program helps prepare aspiring dancers for competitions, college programs and scholarships, and professional dance programs.
Our ballet classes are designed by award-winning instructor and director, Jennie Creer-King. Jennie started Central Utah Ballet after years of experience owning and running multiple successful ballet programs in and around Lehi, Utah. Her most recent success was as principal of the Barbara Barrington-Jones Ballet West Academy at Thanksgiving Point, where she grew the student base to over 500 ballet students in only four years.

Our Ballet Classes
Pre-Ballet (3-6)
Pre-Ballet is a fun and engaging once-a-week ballet class for children ages 3-6 years old. In this class, students begin learning basic ballet technique while developing muscle strength and spatial and cognitive awareness. Students in pre-ballet will have parent-observation performances in the studio as well as an optional main stage performance each year.
Children’s Ballet (7-12)
Children’s Ballet is perfect for students ages 7-12 interested in learning ballet. Children’s Ballet at central Utah Ballet is broken into 5 levels. These levels teach different ages and commitment levels. The higher levels require placement classes and are available for those interested in furthering their technique and opportunities. Junior Pre-Professional Ballet Trainee Program
Our pre-professional ballet trainee program includes advanced ballet training as well as supplemental dance forms including contemporary, modern, flamenco, and more. The purpose of this program is to simulate a college ballet experience while providing essential technique and skills to help your student succeed!
Senior Pre-Professional Ballet Trainee Program
Our pre-professional ballet trainee program senior company is available by audition. This program is great for those students hoping to participate in college or professional ballet opportunities. The pre-professional ballet trainee program not only includes ballet technique classes as well as contemporary and supplementary technique. It also includes lessons and seminars on creating a successful ballet career.
Adult Ballet Classes
Adult ballet classes are here at Central Utah Ballet! We offer intermediate ballet technique classes as well as fitness barre classes that do not require prior ballet experience. Drop-ins are welcome in all our adult classes and we offer an unlimited monthly classes at a discounted rate.
