Lily Farrar is a talented dancer with a BFA degree in dance from Shenandoah University. She has trained with The Nashville Ballet Company, Commercial Dance Intensive, LACDC, New York Dance Project, and more. She was recently awarded the Gus Giordano Scholarship for excellence in Jazz dance.
Lily Farrar, a Tennessee native, recently graduated with her BFA dance degree from Shenandoah University. While at school she performed pieces by Matt Pardo, Daniel Padierna, Tiffanie Carson, Jacob Brent, and others. Farrar has performed with DanceWorks Chicago and Contra Tiempo. She has trained with The Nashville Ballet Company, Commercial Dance Intensive, LACDC, The Arch Ballet, Ekilibre Dance Contact Improv Workshop, New York Dance Project, and Motion X in DC.
Farrar was recently awarded the Gus Giordano Scholarship for excellence in jazz dance. She has also received numerous awards as a competitive ballroom dancer. Farrar also spends her time filming dance concept videos and choreographing.
She is currently getting her master’s in Performing Arts Leadership and Management. Lily joined Odyssey Dance Theatre as a company member in 2021 and will be with them for their 2022 Fall Season.
She is excited to be joining the Central Utah Ballet staff.
