Jilli Snow

Jilli Snow grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and trained at Roswell Dance Theatre/ Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance. She was taught by Tracey Bayly, Mary Lynn Taylor, Robbie Gosnell, Kassandra Taylor Newberry, and Tracy Vogt. She performed many roles including the Clara and Snow Queen in the Nutcracker, Alice in Alice in Wonderland, and as Carabosse and the White Cat in The Sleeping Beauty. She also performed numerous times at Regional Dance America. Jilli spent summers at American Ballet Theatre (NYC), Oregon Ballet Theatre, Ballet Austin, and Boston Ballet.

She attended the University of Utah where she performed as a soloist in classical repertoire and original contemporary works. Some of her highlights were performing as a soloist in the Pas de Trois variation from Swan Lake, and Christine McMillan’s original choreography …can be acute or gradual. She also performed in Vivandiere, staged be Christoper Alloways-Ramsey, and Charles Anderson’s (Re)current Unrest: We the People. While at the U, she was the President of the Character Dance Ensemble from 2020-2022. Jilli traveled with the ensemble to Prague to learn Czech folk dance, and brought many teachers to the U to teach the dance community, including teachers from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and members of the Ute tribe.

After graduating, Jilli was a trainee with a fellowship at Ballet Tucson where she performed in Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht, Chieko Imada’s Himiko, and Mark Schneider’s Joplin. She the joined Chrysalis in 2023 and has performed in many piece’s including the pas de deux in Sixth Breathe, Last Breathe by Jennie Creer-King, the duet Rhythm Section, by Danielle Diniz, Fleeting Moments by Shani Robison, and the Snow Queen, Spanish, Merliton, and the Ballerina Doll in Jennie Creer-King’s The Nutcracker.

Jilli is a teacher and office manager at Central Utah Ballet, and teaches all over the Utah Valley. She is an ABT® certified teacher and completed the ABT®  Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Teaching Curriculum.
